Patterson Health Center Designed to Transform Rural Healthcare in Kansas, Focuses on Wellness

Named in memory of Neal Patterson, co-founder and former CEO of Cerner

KANSAS CITY, MO – July 16, 2019 – Nationally recognized design and planning firm Gould Evans, in partnership with Kahler Slater’s team of Medical Planning Consultants, has designed the newly completed Patterson Health Center in rural Harper County, Kansas. The 62,500-square-foot facility unites two formerly separate critical access hospitals under one distinctive roof that pays homage to neighboring communities coming together.

Last week Cerner celebrated the grand opening of Innovations - a new campus that will cover 4.7 million sq. ft. when complete! We designed the master plan to be a centerpiece of their strategy to draw top tech talent to the KC area.

Kansas City, MO, March 9, 2017 – Nationally-recognized design and planning firm Gould Evans, together with Cerner, Grand Construction and JE Dunn, is pleased to announce the completion of phase one and two of the new Cerner Innovations, located at I-435 and Bannister Road. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on the morning of March 9, 2017 to celebrate the grand opening of the campus, which will be the largest development projects in Missouri’s history by the time it is fully built out.
