Check out the progress being made on the The State Historical Society of Missouri's new Center for Missouri Studies in downtown Columbia! The facility is designed to create a state-of-the-art facility to carry out SHSMO's mission to collect, preserve and disseminate Missouri's history and heritage.

Gould Evans Phoenix Studio Hosts ArtDetour 30

Today we hosted ArtDetour 30, which is the Sagrado Galleria’s second pop-up art show with local artist Edgar Fernandez. Since 2013, Edgar has accomplished public recognition in his community through solo exhibitions, group shows, and mural projects with youth around the valley. His focus is to share his artistic journey through the influences of his ancestors, and to continue to enrich and empower the voice of his culture throughout all his creations.

Make 48 Competition to be Held in New KCAI Studio Designed by Gould Evans

THE DAVID T. BEALS III STUDIO FOR ART AND TECHNOLOGY WILL PROVIDE A FLEXIBLE, HIGH-TECH WORK SPACE FOR CONTESTANTS

Kansas City, MO – October 28 2016 – The Kansas City Art Institute’s new David T. Beals III Studio for Art and Technology, which was designed by nationally-recognized architecture and planning firm Gould Evans, will host the Kansas City-based Make 48 competition on October 28-30. This fast-paced race against the clock gives 15 teams of inventors 48 hours to plan, prototype and pitch their ideas for prizes and licensing potential
