“We the public are not unsusceptible to experiencing homelessness, especially in times of pandemic,” argues Ricardo Milhouse, associate in our Phoenix studio, humanistic social scientist, and PhD Candidate in the School of Social Transformation at Arizona State University. And Phoenix has an opportunity to transform its public areas to be more accommodating to unsheltered people, both in design and their access and use.
