Kelly Dreyer Joins the Aligned Board of Directors

Gould Evans is pleased to announce that Kelly Dreyer, AIA LEEP AP, has joined the board of Aligned—a nonprofit, nonpartisan coalition of business leaders committed to improving education in Kansas and Missouri. Aligned believes the business community has the obligation, opportunity, and capacity to increase college and workforce readiness in students through an ambitious, aggressive, and comprehensive reform agenda.

Kelly is joining the board of Aligned to connect his career-long passion for education projects to local advocacy and reform. This multi-level approach informs his problem-solving and design of educational experiences.

“I’m honored to be involved in the important work of improving education for all students in Kansas and Missouri. As designers, we work closely with educators to create space and experiences that not only support learning objectives—but help define them. This includes helping pave the critical path toward workplace readiness. My role with Aligned unites design with education policy to create a shared language that ensures every student is prepared.”

As architects, business leaders, and community members in the Kansas City region, Gould Evans is deeply committed to enhancing the practice, education, and resulting outcomes of K–12 education. On behalf of the firm, Kelly is looking forward to investing his time and expertise in advocating for policies and practices to help students and teachers thrive.
